    I'm using the updated Joomla package which seems to be working fine although when using DOCman to upload files i get the message "Error Uploading - Directory problem:"

    There's obviously a directory problem but what am i looking for?

    Check the permissions on the dmdocuments folder. Need to be writeable.

    Everyone has full control!! The folder has the demo documents that come with your package present but DOCman within the Joomla admin site reports that there are no files present!?

    Goto Components > Docman > Configuration and check the "Path for storing files" value is correct.

    Thanks that was it. Just needed to point this to the relevant location. Don't know why i automatically assumed that this would point to my location

    So did I. Seems the value is hard coded into the DB after install.

    *Using Joomla 1.5.26

    Sorry for talking in old topic but i have the "Error Uploading - Directory problem" and "Error Uploading - Directory problem: Cannot move file" and when i click on the Configuration i get this "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in/users/*/public_html/layout/administrator/components/com_docman/contrib/pear/HTML_Common.php on line 218"
    and these are the lines from 213~219
    " function _updateAttrArray(&$attr1, $attr2) {
    if (!is_array($attr2)) {
    return false;
    }
    foreach ($attr2 as $key => $value) {
    $attr1[$key] = $value; "
    i try re-installing Docman (removed him and then re-install him but nothing chaned ;( )

    When i try to upload the File before the upload is ready it redirects me to a page saying this error
    " Warning: move_uploaded_file(/users/*/public_html/start/dmdocuments/RESHENIE019_13_PR070_12.doc) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in/users/*/public_html/layout/administrator/components/com_docman/classes/DOCMAN_file.class.php on line 397 "

    So any clue how to fix it ?

    P.S.
    I Tried to upload the fiels in dmdocuments (directly there) but nothing happen ;(
