Alter behaviour of Latest News module

Just want to share a eureka moment with those edugeekers a bit bewildered on using joomla (or is it just me )

I couldn't understand why Latest News module only displayed news and not other updated content.

If you go into Modules- Site Modules and select Latest News - down at the bottom left you can say which category(s) or section(s) it will display content from.

Its currently set to content from section id = 2 - if you look at Content -Section Manager , you can see that School News has section id 2 - and so the circle of life is complete

    regards

    Simon
