    Hey,

I tried to install the Edugeek Joomla package but it wouldn't have any of it - I've installed the normal Joomla one now instead without any hitches. Thing is I like the templates on offer in the Edugeek package.

Can anyone give me the link to the individual files to I can add them to my normal installation.

    Thanks,

The Edugeek Package should work. What error are you getting? Where are you installing it?

Can't understand why the edugeek package wont work while the default Joomla one does. But to get the templates just copy them from the edugeek package themes folder to your live sites themes folder.

    Oh, cool.

The error I was getting was after installation - trying to log on as admin. Said I had wrong password etc. I tried 4 installs of this on 3 different machines. Then when I put the standard joomla it let me in straight away no probs.

No, I was trying to use the password I set it as at install time. Is this a school bot error?!

The package ignores what you enter at setup time. You logon via admin/admin and then change the password via the backend admin.

It is mentioned in the included guide.

What's a guide? Never looked at one before. Hehe.

I'll hold my hands up then - my bad, should have read the install instructions.... Just expected it to be the same as standard Joomla install.

I tried simply copying the themes over and they did show up in the themes section of the admin console but wouldn't show when activated so am under the impression that they need to be installed via the console from an archive file!!?
