Afternoon everyone.
Looking to add another theme for the Joomla package and need some initial feedback. After looking at a lot of the sites that are using the package it seems that a high percentage of users prefer the whitespace heavy theme over the more colourful one. With that in mind I have put together the following theme which will be called eg_simple.
It is still based on the rt_rokwebify theme, but is a far simpler design.
The left / top modules can have module styles applied to set the colour of the rounded edges.
I have yet to create the different colour themes so as usual all requests are welcome.
Due to the layout options this won’t just slip into the package like the included themes so will be made a separate download with a brief install guide.
Look forward to your thoughts.
!!UPDATE!!

5th February 2008, 03:12 PM #4 Yes, liked the look of your new site theme SYSMAN - nice and clean looking - up to date feel somehow too.
Def like the white space - i'd prefer that. I always want to make full use of the width too - tho tis a problem with pages dynamically sizing.
Maybe looks a little "stiff" /corporate - especially for primaries. But also proffessional. For me what lifts the design is the very colourful blocks and icons of the body - they don't seem to quite fit with the header in design.
As always I'd love to see a dynamic menu bundled - I've had a lot of people asking about adding that - could you bundle something with the package or would that be too problematic?
Whitespace is def a hit tho'

10th February 2008, 10:40 PM #9 Cheers guys. I have decided that i will include 5 colour themes each in a gradient style (as seen in the red) and a flat style.
So far have red, green and blue. Anyone want to see a specific colour?

Hi I found these forums while searching for school based Joomla templates. The package is great by the way.
I love the look of this template, any idea when it will be available to download?
