    Alternitive to smoothgallery

    Hi,

    I had to start from scratch with a standard joomla package as I could not get my me nu system to work in the edugeek one. I really liked the smooth gallery but the model seems to be no longer avalible for download.

    Can any one suggest an alternitive one that does the same and works with joomla.

    Thanks, Glenn

    Take alook at Simple Image Rotator from http://www.joomlaworks.gr

    Not as flashy as smoothgallery but works a treat.

    Re: Alternitive to smoothgallery

    Thanks, I also found this

    http://www.oscandy.com/joomla/22-smo...-joomla-mambot

    Could you take a look at my site

    http://www.bishophatfield.herts.sch.uk/bhgs/

    And possibly let me know what part of the code I need to change to make the bottom half as wide as the rest of the site? I managed to do the top part, but cant figure where to do the bottom.

    Thanks

    Open the template_css.css file and look for:

    Code:
    div#wrapper {
    	margin: 0 auto;
    	width: 968px;
    	padding-top: 18px;
    }
    And change the width to your required value.

    Humm that is the value that sets the width of the entire template. If you have made other changes to make the header wider this could be casuing problems.

    Which module are you using for the images at the top? You normally can only use one instance on a page.

    Another good option is JSN ImageShow
