We ran 45 student in one session this morning doing a numeracy 2 exam and it all worked fine.
What I have done is create an exambase user who has the exam base client set as their shell so all they get is the testing software.

That's pretty much it here too, though it's not set at the shell could try that I suppose. How do they log out?
We have found randomly though that when doing a test of 25-30 people maybe about 4 will freeze up, then come back a few minutes later, or sometimes not.
I had no reports of anyone freezing this morning even in one room of 15 computers that I thought would conk out.
Once they exited the test they just ctr + alt + del to logout

Ah righty ok, not sure they could manage that here! lol
Anyway, bigger things on the mind right now and it's working fine. Infact much better than any other online testing we've used.
The only problem I find is that I have to be involved but only to go to the server and download the details, print off the numbers and upload results. Shame the Exams Officer can't do thses tasks.
Same here I have to export pupils from phoenix, upload the csv, set up the exams, allocate students and do all the server side.
Seems a pity it can't automatically upload the results itself after the exam is finished.
You also can't run more than one session of an exam per day at the moment but that is going to be changed.

Ah I don't do any of the uploading of students details. My part starts with the downloading then the scheduling, printing out the candidate numbers to hand to the EO. Then he comes and tells me they've finished, I click upload results, go on the site and print them out in a nice Excel table and give them to the EO.
Will be changing shortly so I don't even do the last bit though, then I'll just be there to do the server bits only.
