Voting Software - Elections for Head Students!

Does anyone know of any free voting software, that will allow me to carry out a simple "election" style vote. There are 10 candidates for Head Boy/Girl and we want to hold an "electronic election"

Any Suggestions? Has anyone written their own that I may use?

If you had a CMS installed there are many polling scripts available as add ons. Nothing serious seems to be out of beta on GPL (although i'm sure plexar could find something! )

Then there's this freebie for a basic poll: http://proxy2.de/scripts.php

Hundreds if not thousands of voting php or asp scripts around. Some very basic ones that keep a tally, to more advanced ones that place a cookie on a user to stop re-voting to more complex access/database driven ones that'll more securely prevent re-voting and allow other tasks to be carried out.
