    Updating Oliver 5

Our system was recently migrated from Oliver 4 to a new server and Oliver 5.

They have sent the library an update that needs to be done to oliver 5 and ive never done one before.

Is it fairly striaghtfoward updating oliver? Is there anything to be aware of?

Important thing to do with Softlink updates - read all the instructions from beginning to end before embarking upon the task! I was stung by an upgrade which had a few pages of instructions telling you what to do and then somewhere in the middle it said 'if you have X, don't do any of the prior stuff'... Kinda late.
