    Lightbulb Dreamspark

    Hey there,

Just wanted to know how many people know about Dreamspark and how many people use it here? For those who don't know, its a scheme where students with .ac.uk email addresses or students associated with a registered secondary school can download the development tools for Windows. Stuff like Visual Studio or Windows Server for free.

    Thanks

    Hiya,

Dreamspark is wonderful and well worth looking into. The offer of high-level packages from Microsoft like Windows Server (Standard) and Visual Studio and Expression Studio make it ideal for a group of students at A-Level or a "computer club" where they want to learn more than the usual Microsoft Office suite.

I think the best feature of Dreamspark is the one free Microsoft exam: it's a good way of getting the students who are looking for an IT career to get started.

    Hope this helps.
