Having a weird issue with Dreamweaver 8, and yes I know its old :roll eyes:
Pupils are creating a website and working away with no issues. The problem arises when they next work on the files. They go to their network home folder and find that the html files have gone and there are .tmp files in their place. Although these files aren't named the same as the original html files, but weren't there before.
Just seen this first hand. A pupil logged on to a computer goes to his network home folder and only gifs etc there, plus a .tmp and no html file. He takes me to the computer he was on earlier in the day and logs on, goes to his network home folder, and the homepage.html is there, and no .tmp file
So far we have been recovering via backup, but this is obviously a workaround rather than a solution.
I don't know Dreamweaver that well. Anyone seen this before?
Sorry to bump this thread, but has anyone got any ideas? We dealing with this on a daily basis now.
