One of our ICT Teachers is about to teach Audacity to the kids and has asked me if I can get some sound clips for them to use with their recordings.
I searched the C drive to get the Microsoft Office ones etc but they aren't long enough, she is looking for around 1min.
They can be all differnet types of sound clips, does anyone have any they can send or a link to websites?

It's good fun finding quite specific stuff. For instance "Close field recording of medium ambient waves crushing on the shore of Kalundborg Fjord at Røsnæs." = no problem

Nothing in perticular, I've been told they are going to make adverts, so background sounds or little bits that can go inbetween speaking would be great.
If its music you want try Internet Archive: Digital Library of Free Books, Movies, Music & Wayback Machine they have a lot of stuff from ebooks and audio to old movies out of copyright.

Make sure you have your glove puppets on hand. You'll soon have to explain to him why he can't download stuff off iTunes/YouTube.
