Default MS Office 2007 default 2003 format save

Took me a few minutes to work this one out, If you want people to save as in 2003 format.

In Word or Excel:

Click save >> Tools >> Save options >> Save files in this format >> word 97-2003 format

Or from GPO:

http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office....mspx?mfr=true

Bu can I ask why?

The new format is so much more efficient than the old ones and backwards compatible with the downloads from the Office website.

yes it may be more efficient but remember we are dealing with teachers who hate changes, so many times i have had people sending out the new word files to users using 2003, so many calls i cant open this file.... this work arround has save us lots of time.
