Is anyone using Pearson ActiveLearn?
The Science department are considering buying it. It looks like an online resource, I assume hosted by them.
Has anyone go any good or bad feedback on it?

We have a bunch of active teach stuff. Our packages are for teachers + students (*Though i dont think this is made clear by Pearson), they have components that can go on the network (rm CC here but other options availible) and also on the VLE.
For the VLE the discs either come with a ready made SCORM packages or codes that can then be used on the website to download the VLE SCORM content.
*I'd suggest you make sure the staff know which packages they are getting and what they can do with the packages, a few times now we have had 'teaching pack' style packages that dont have much for the students, though I think this is more a case of the teachers just being a bit naive with sales people.
Thanks for the reply.
We also have some active teach stuff but I think active learn maybe different. Here is the link I was given
Ahh I see. Well that does indeed look like an anywhere net version.
However if you really want to be sure just contact them via email or phone. Ive emailed them and a few other providers before, they were helpful and great for definitive answers.
Also noticed on the site it mentions seamless intergration with the student book ,which may be a component of active teach so might be worth you asking about that too.
