I'm going to need to do this for our MPS 2008 machines at some point, the easiest way should be to edit the MSI file with orca to reove the OS level requirements that prevent it from installing. It should still be compatable with the underlying system.

I was able to get it to install using "msiexec \i PStory.msi NOLEGITCHECK=1 SKIPOSCHECK=1" in command line on server 2k3...but the program fails to launch with the error of not being able to run on that OS.

Solution found...I forgot about being able to run programs in compatibility mode. Here's what you do. Save the MSI file to the c: drive. Open CMD line and run "msiexec /i PStory.msi NOLEGITCHECK=1 SKIPOSCHECK=1". Once the install is done, copy and paste the shortcut for the program into the "all users" folder (or public on Win7/2k8) On that shortcut, right click, go to compatibility tab, run in XP SP3 mode and run for all users (it's a button down below).

Hope this helps. Let me know if there are any questions.
