The version we have is (unbelievably!!!! on a thing called a floppy disk!?!?!?!) and is version 1.0c. Does anyone use omnigraph and what's the current version?
If so does it work well on windows xp and where can we get this upgrade from?? Have tried contacting the company directly; no website found, no email, have rung both the number we found on our omnigraph info and also the one online and both are unrecognised.
Any ideas?
Wow! That is going back a bit.
Omnigraph came from Software Production Associates, originally from Leamington Spa (hence, I think, the clever "SPA" name) but later in Tewkesbury. I think they merged with/were taken over by AVP.
archive.org finds SPA: the best in Educational Software and a phone number of 01291 637 300 and SPAsales@avp.co.uk but I don't think AVP are still trading (the website doesn't work)
http://web.archive.org/web/200805062...omnigraph.html has a link to the demo download (link works; 30 day demo installs fine on x64 Windows 7 so should work on anything!)
If you can't get Omnigraph, take look at Gnuplot. It's far, far more complex than Omnigraph but you don't have to use everything - eg plot sin(x) plots a sine curve so it's not too hard to get started.
I think the version of Omnigraph we have is on a floppy disk - I think I copied the install files to a CD when the last of our computers with FDD left us.
The staff haven't requested an updated copy, so it must still do what they need it to do.

We also use omnigraph v1 or something very archaic and it doesn't work with Win 7 and was asked about upgrades etc.... Maybe time to look at GNUPlot instead then
We use Omnigraph but have just purchased autograph - works well......
