I have been asked to put his on certain machines in one school. I have downloaded the software and it is an .exe application.
Has anyone repackaged this to an msi. I want to deploy this through GPO and wondered if anyone one else uses it or had deployed it?

AFAIK MSWlogo is no longer developed - last update 2002.
Its successor is FMSLogo http://sourceforge.net/projects/fmslogo
I did look at Xlogo once - only because it was java and could conceivably be run from a java web server tomcat/JBOSS - but we settled with FMSlogo. There are loads of other logo type projects if you search

We use it. Our maths FM loves it. As for the MSI, I find it runs well from the server. Just a sortcut to the proggy is required.

BTW... FMS logo link is here. The one Cybernerd links to seems to be broken.

So you install it on a server 2003? then just create a short cut for the user desktop and it runs ok?We use it. Our maths FM loves it. As for the MSI, I find it runs well from the server. Just a sortcut to the proggy is required.

@kyle - copy the files to an smb share then link to the executable. \\server\share\prog.exe
@HBJB. oops and thanks.

Just installed this on one of my schools networks... easy enough to do but added a wiki article to formalise it...

Thanks for the info above...
Hi everebody,
for school we have to make a car, and then make it ride.
Can somebody tell me how to do this in msw logo?
thaks,
timmy
Yeah i've packaged it up, and it deployed fine.
I used WinInstall LE2003
I think I repackaged it...although I do remember running it from a network share as a test, seemed to work okay!
Thanks,
Sorry to bring this post back from the dead but does anyone have the .msi I could download?
