Microsoft Kodu

Kodu is a new visual programming language made specifically for creating games.

Has anyone tried this? The new version doesn't need an XBox controller.

Played with it a bit at BETT today, and defiantly worth giving a try... great for teaching control & as an after-school activity.

Yeah I saw this at Bett as well

They gave me this URL for it

They same product can also be downloaded on an xbox 360 from the Xbox Live indie games section for 400 pts.

This is now out of CTP and into a fully released version.

If you want to disable the update check that happens at launch, the only feasible way to do it is by adding a /NoUpdate switch when you launch the program (along with /NoInstrumentation if you want to disable CEIP) Source

Attached is a transform that will add these to the shortcuts for you when Kodu is installed.
