Have you tried running it in WinXP compatibility mode?

Just realised that I didn't actually point out that I can't get the damn thing to even install!

Haven't got the machine set up to do the "Virtual XP" thing; I thought I did try to run the installer in the "run in..." compatibility mode, but now realise that maybe it was a DK prog (see below) I was thinking of. I have tried 5.20, but it appears to be a patch that needs 5.0 installed first. (Unless there's a download to install 5.20 that I missed).

So far C5 and some ancient DK prog written for W98 that "may require" a patch for XP (installs fine and starts OK but then crashes out) are the only programs that I've had major problems with.
