This website is trying to steam video via a windows media player window, when i try to stream any of it as a student it does nothing, not even buffering
When i run it as a teacher or admin it works fine
When i run it as a teacher or admin via the same proxy the kids use, it works fine
When i run it as a student on an unfiltered connection, it doesn't work
.... so this suggests profile/policys but i cannot for the life of me find the cause >_< Does anyone here have any suggestions? perhaps a particular dll that could be blocked or something?
It also won't stream the video if i take the link and plonk it into VLC or WMP, but that could be because the site requires authentication(?)
Hi,
Is it the media page (with the different TV / radio stations) you are having the problem with? That page relies a lot on JavaScript to update the media URL for the embedded player, so if scripts are blocked on the page in any way, it might not run correctly.
