Default Software developer needed

I have approached an educational company and they are really interested in developing an idea for some software I have but the developer they use is snowed under with work and so have asked me to find someone else to get this software developed.
can anyone help? Otherwise I will have to wait a year for their developer to make it!

what type of application is this?

what language are you looking for this to be developed in? (ASP.Net, C#, C++, C, Delphi are fine, VB is a no no)

Having been made redunant at the end of last month, I have some free time.
