Has anyone dealt with this horrible software?
Its just a load of word documents but it has a menu front end which only works when run from the CD
Theres no setup, and if you copy it to a network/local drive you get: "Unable to load autorun.inf" - which is quite clearly there.
After that you get a window that has a link to the software used to create it - Paraben Autorun Wizard - which is stated as no longer supported when you click the link
Not much looks wrong in the autorun.inf file, it specifies the right icon and .exe, and also has some strange lines relating to html content in a ficticious my documents (especially strange as theres no html content in the program)
Code:
[Autorun]
open=autorun.exe
icon=autorun.ico
label=e-Worksheets
[DeviceInstall]
[ACDS]
html=C:\Documents and Settings\Paul\My Documents\@Fakenham\Hodder CD Stuff\Aqa GCSE Science Core e-Worksheets\index.html
iconpath=C:\Documents and Settings\Paul\Desktop\Hodder Working Images\AQA GCSE Core e-Worksheets\icon2.ico
title=AQA GCSE Science - Core e-Worksheets
height=595
width=794
left=100
top=50
border=1
task=0
winmax=false
winscroll=false
center=true
staytop=false
I assume all that Paul stuff is from whoever created it, but its unacceptable to have it developed so sloppily you can still see that
Ive tried changing those paths to all users or a local user, and also tried removing them altogether, but no joy
So does anyone know what could be wrong?

Only run aqua science review but we found if you copy all contents of disc to shared drive and then create shortcut and add to group it works.sorry if this doesn't help but usually we find with crap software this works fine.
