Junior Librarian 3 Problem
We have a problem with Junior Librarian 3 (v3.2.2.25 - the lastest) which while it persists is making large parts of the program unusable. I've spoken to the help desk but they've not been able to help.
What happens is when you visit the Enquiry module from the opening screen the program begins to run very, very slowly. There is a 10 second delay before the cursor appears in the search box and the same delay when clicking on any of the books listed, if fact choose any icon in this part of the program and there is a delay. This is a network installation so I did a standalone installation and the problem persists until I unplugged the network cable and everything was fine, the program runs as expected. There's no problem with the network at this school, it's one of the fastest I deal with so what could be the problem? Network card drivers are up to date.
Any suggestions, any one else seen this problem. Many thanks.

12th October 2009, 06:46 PM #6 Right this is what we did to speed up 'enquiry' go into librarian, select security, options, discovery on line and tick use HTTP 1.1. The drawback is though whilst enquiry works at the speed it should, the book covers disappear, this apparently is an issue with the current version and may be corrected in future versions.
