I've had this weird problem quite a lot recently - our staff and students keep finding that MS Publisher won't display embedded pictures in their documents any more. You cannot see the images in Publisher or in the print preview (although you can select them if you know where they are). If you print the document, all the images will print correctly.
If I make a copy of the file, all the images in the copy seem to display correctly. Has anyone encountered this glitch before, and if so, is there a fix for it?
What sort of machines are these? I suspect the OS/memory.

I've seen this with Publisher 2000. Do the images appear if you select where they are and move them slightly with the arrow keys?
I'll have to test next time it happens - I've not got a problem file to hand to test with.Originally Posted by pete
thats what happened to me before and it also happened in m$ word but if you select it there is an outline of the picture but it is still white but when you move it slightly with the arrow keys it re-appears.

Did anybody come up with a solution to this problem? I'm having the same problem with publisher 2003. You can click to see the resize handles but no picture, yet I can copy and paste it into word and You can see it there
Any help would be appreciated
