    SCORM compliant software for distribution

    Hello,

I'm fairly new scorm and educational software. What would people recommend for creating scorm compliant material that could then be distributed/sold on?

    Cheers

The generation package might not be as important as the testing. Get access to all the VLEs you can - different versions of Moodle, Blackboard, Frog, DigitalBrain, whatever. Different manufacturer's ideas of "SCORM compliant" seem to, well, differ a fair bit. You might do just as well with hand-coded HTML/Javascript/Flash.

Yeah, testing > all. "Works fine on the VLE we sell" != "SCORM-compliant".

Also, consider re-encoding your videos for web distributions if it's the scorm package of a resource dvd. We've had to veto a bunch of multi-gigabyte monstrosities until we batch-processed the video to sane file sizes.
