Default Smartboard drivers

I've got an oldish smartboard attached by serial port to a computer in the suite, smartboard 10 notebook up and running, board interactive, smart service running etc, but, the smartboard shows as an error in device manager and insists on installing the drivers at each logon. I've installed the latest drivers but these install but are not recognised by the computer. Now really annoyed with it

If no-one else can help then I have the old smartboard drivers at work that I can dig up for you... that is if you're trying with the latest drivers now. Try it on another computer if you can.

We have had this problem once before, if i remember correctly we un-installed all the smartboard drivers that were on the machine, and uninstalled the software.

Once we did that, did a restart and then re-installed the drivers and it did fix the issue.

You might have already done this, but thought i would mention it.

I also have the older smartboard drivers at work somewhere, they might or might not work.

James.
