On the scrounge again: the school want to use this but we only have the old version on 3 floppy disks, and disk 1 won't read. We have a full license but can't afford to upgrade to the new version, ImagineLogo.
Has anyone still got it on floppy? If so could they copy the disks and send them to me? I would be unbelievably grateful.

Not sure if it's the right thing though - Logotron :: Imagine - Superlogo Installer

5th June 2009, 02:30 PM #3 If you need a logo program in a hurry, MSWLogo, An Educational programming language is free and full of features - I think we may have had an old version of Logo on floppies somewhere but when they vanished we moved over to that...

5th June 2009, 03:48 PM #6 There is no problem with this - I have asked the manufacturers, and as they don't make it anymore, and we have the disk and licences, they are happy for me to borrow a disk if I can find one
Thanks for the alternatives and I will look at them, but as we already have the disks and it has been installed on approximately half the IT suite, I thought I would ask!

5th June 2009, 04:09 PM #7 If its already installed and its a fairly old program it may be as easy as copying the folder & shortcuts over to a new machine. If that brings up errors it should just be a case of copying over any dll's etc it references from the original machine.

5th June 2009, 04:10 PM #8 I found with superlogo you don't have to install it on each machine, just copy the folder in program files to each machine and make a shortcut for the desktop. So try copying it from an already installed computer and see if it works. I'm not at the school that uses superlogo anymore so haven't got access to a disk.
Jamman got there first!
