Anyone tried creating one thereself for CC3? Just ordered some 2003 licenses it'll cost me a further £380 for the CC3 installer from RM. Anyone reckon it's worth it?

Nah I wouldn't have thought so. Take a bout an hour at tops to create it as long as you have a clean build machine it shouldn't be a problem!

Does seem a lot of money and I'll certainly give it ago myself out of curiousity.
Mainly interested whilst I'm waiting for the license key (have the media now) if anyone has crashed and burned on this?
Got 8 days of work in the holiday to get everyting sorted at two schools (termtime +3 weeks) SR5/security updates/cleaning out rubbish in sever room etc.
Still got a couple of training days for the first couple of days back. So 2 weeks without children really.

Yeah i agree bout an hour tops no problems here.

Surely you could install it the standard 'MS' way? Just stick the MSI in a GPO and use the resource kit to tweak it.

Thats one problem with RM where they are just making more money by selling you installers that they have had to modify to sucessfully install on a CC3 system shouldn't be needed and it's just a cheek to have to pay for it too.

Tried a few build using RM App Wizard first and it kept failing
(didn't like the registry line @personal\)
Did this and it's seems to be working. (seemed too easy to try first)

Needed a bit of playing around with shortcuts but nothing too problematic
Haven't really tested outlook as we don't use it.
On saying that the other version of outlook with RM's Office XP MSI never seemed to work properly when it came to using RM sync.
