    Software Viewer

    HI

Does anyone know of a free picture finder and viewer so I can find all the pictures in the kids areas and view them.

    Thanks for all your help.

Doesn't WinXP 'find' and 'Thumbnail view' suffice?

You know Geoff won't be able to give advice on improving an XP box that doesn't involve the L word.

    mrtech, did you mean IrfanView?

Picasa is more than suitable, doesn't the newest M$ Picture Viewer (bundled with Office 2k3) go off and search your drives for pics as well?

    Re: Software Viewer

What are you trying to do ricki?

If you're trying to find innapropriate images you're on to a looser I think. The trend now seems to be for forensic software solutions like Securus and Policy Central - these are boxes that sit on your network monitoring for pre-defined 'offences' that trigger screen shots to be taken to produce reports. I suppose this doesn't filter image content(?)

To control images coming in from the internet you could use something like Censornet and it's image filter.

Or if you are wanting a tool designed to look for naughty pictures then Snitch from hyperdyne software is what you need:
