Has anyone managed to install Dartfish Classroom via Group Policy?
I've just been told that the PE Dept want it installing on 100 machines in various parts of the school and I don't want to have to do it on each machine individually.

It all depends on your machines and graphics cards as it is rather memory consuming. I don't suppose there should be much of an issue with it in terms of group policy only that it may need extra permissions for the standard user to be able to use it plus saving data path will need to be changed to users net share but these files can be rather large so i would suggest a NAS for all your users.
This is something i have got to do as well but have not got round to it yet. I aksed the PE dept to tell me what PC's they want it on and I am still waitng for an answer................................! been 8 months now and still no answer.Has anyone managed to install Dartfish Classroom via Group Policy
I hve installed it last week withthe msi nstall that come swiththe CD, THe problem i am having is getting the videos to deploy. Its a different msi for those. THe GPO appears to install the videos but nothing appears. I am thinking of manully running a VB script to copy the videos over to the 10 pc's in question.
In the end I built a new ghost image and had me tech at the time deploy it after I left.
Same here the PE Dept have required this software to be installed on the LAPTOPS any notes pm me please
Thanks in Advance
Update:
I had no joy with installing the Videos by msi. I even created a transform file and tried to deploy this way but still no good.
In the end i did a manual install of the videos, watched what files it created. It just created a video/pal directory in the 'program files\Dartfish directory. It placed all the video files in there. I did a test by manually removing the file and the replacing it it and the software still ran fine.
SO all i did was create a vbscript to create the folder path and then ran another vbscript to copy the videos form a network share to these machines.
I am in the process of asking for help on the vbscript to finalise it.
