    CMiS uses please advise.

We have recently had CMiS in trying to convince us to move to them from SIms, Our SLT are not sure what to do at the mo.

I was looking at the training manual and also the evalutaion cd.

How do you back up the SQL database? With server 2003, can the sevrer be backed up as a whole with NT back up as it can back up open files? Or does the SQL db of CMis have to be stopped with a script so it can be back up as in what SIms does?

I would seriously suggest you go onto the ICT Register and search for CMIS and chat to the schools that have it implemented.

Most of the schools on there (even if thay are reference sites for CMIS) will give their honest opinon.
