Rep Power: 43 | This software is extremely unreliable and their technical support were unable to fix problems. This was quite some time ago. You could try contacting their support and see if you have better luck than I did. |

Rep Power: 5 | I had issues with this software, which for us is meant to be networked but I couldn't get it to work like that. Installed on local machine with a local user in the administrators group, which is less than useful in this environment. The software still didn't work as it should and is very rarely used now. Which is also less than ideal given the cost. |

Rep Power: 18 | Thanks for that info - I can't have local admins, unfortunately. Just what I need, another problem I am unable to solve: that makes 3 this week. People are starting to look sideways at me and I KNOW they are thinking - she can't do her job, can she? |

The issue is not whether or not you can do your job, in my opinion it is with those onlookers who do not understand the situation. Users generally believe what it says on the box, which as we know all too well is not always the case. | |

Rep Power: 18 | Right - well I have fixed it - I think I uninstalled everything - cleaned up the registry, installers etc Reinstalled the software - all fine - but on running it I then got a completely DIFFERENT MFC error message that pointed me at some text-to-speech software installed somewhere else on the computer which I didn't put there and have no idea what it is for. SO I deleted it and installed the text-to-speech bit off the disc... And Voila! It seems to work at the moment Don't know why. Don't care Only 20 problems left on my list (sung to the tune of '10 green bottles') thanks guys |
