mr_wordshark (23rd July 2012)
I love this software.
I have just been 'testing' a new installation and it really took me back to the days of buying 'Your Sinclair' and spending hours entering the program code supplied within so my brother and I could spend the rest of the day shooting at each other with blocky looking tanks making 'beep' 'boop' 'beboop' sounds!
If anyone with Numbershark 4 has a few minutes spare, have a crack at the game where you have to collect money in the back before the robber gets it, its ace. (And quite tricky )
Don't tempt me... I have far too much stuff to get done!.. besides no spare disks...
Don't tempt me either - it is used for the SEN children here, and they love it!
Our SEN / EAL students here use it and find in good.
We had it at my last school... I miss it
We have it here (vsn 3). Having just bought the SEN department new computers I have spent AGES trying to get the software to run!
It is not particularly one of my favourites at the minute.
With declaration of interest in sig block, and apologies that I have only just spotted your post - please do ring us here in Wordshark/Numbershark Support, 0208 748 1170. Even though v3 is now approx 12 years old so obsolete by most standards, we are still happy to support you (and yes, this is free, and no, we are not a premium rate number!). In general, to anyone reading this posting, rather than you spending ages trying to get software to run, if you ring the support dept for that software, you will usually save a fair bit of time...then you will have more time to bring home the bacon
Wow - just sent a mail regarding a support query and got an immediate call back! Very very impressive.
Still a favourite of our SEN dept, now given a new lease of life.
Many thanks mr_wordshark!
Just to say - the email address on the mr_wordshark posting of 23 July 2012 has changed, and is now support @ wordshark. co. uk In other respects, inc tel number, the posting is still correct.
As Miscbrah has found, we do indeed still support v3, even though it is now 13 years old - and sadly struggles with Win7 and 8, though happily, our current versions don't!
