Default RM Sucess Maker, install on clients

Hello All,

We are currently rebuilding a Success Maker setup for one of our feeders.

I have moved the data onto a new server, and it all seems to be working OK.

However I cannot find installation media for the client workstations.

I've copied the C:\LOCALCAI folder from one of their old workstations, however it requires some DLLs, which we haven't got.

Has anyone come across this before?

Many Thanks,

Matt

We are running a VERY old version of success maker here and we just run a file called CONFIGUR.EXE to install on the clients.

Map a drive to the sme share on your data server. i.e M:

Start
Run
m:\resultsmanager\successmaker\workst\setup\setup. exe

We've got a very, very old version of Success Maker here. The installation CDs, of which there are many, have version stamps between v4, v4.1, v4.11 and v5.1.1

Do RM sell upgrades/latest version of this product?

Successmaker Enterprise is the newer version and it is much more robust than the old version of Successmaker. It's actually alot cheaper than the older version was, too!

We've been using it here for years and it just runs - dont really have to do anything with it at all!

If there are some DLLs that you need, have you tried google ?
They're quite often available from DLL-files.com - Download all your missing dll-files. and similar sites.

Then put them into the C:\LOCALCAI folder.

The primary still have their old client machines, we were going to "upgrade" them to some of our old RM P2 machines.

I'll give it a try with their old clients on Monday. Hopefully mapping the right drives will get it to work.
