Hi All
New to this, but was wondering if anyone knew where i could get the initial install for Administrator from. We are using it at the college, but i need to do a fresh install of it on a couple of Vista Machines, and not update. Unfortunately it looks like our Exams team have deleted the administratorsetup file.
Any ideas would be welcome, currently waiting for Pearson to get back to me as well...

If you log in to the catglobal.com site using the user details supplied to you (the same as you/the teacher would use when setting up each exam), then you should get all the files available for download.
You may also find you have to do this when ESM says it has a new version as the "upgrade" version it downloads seemingly cannot find the currently installed version and complains. Joy.

Hi All,
Using Vista
I have downloaded and installed ESM and Admin set up but I cannot get it to connect.
When I start the ESM server I click on Browser and get the login page but when I try login I get the following message:
Invalid ID or Password. Please try again.
I have contacted Pearson who say it is a Vista connectivity issue, so has anyone managed to get this working in Vista and if so, how?

You don't want to install the ESM on a client workstation only the Administrator.
The ESM should only be on the "Server" or "Exams Workstation".
Nonetheless, I can't confirm/deny the issue on a vista workstation.
When you first install the ESM server and go to logon you need to ring the support team to get them to authenticate the logon, once that is done they ask you to run a test exam, after that is complete they verfy you for exams.
