We have been using the data harvest loggers for a couple of years without any problems. Might be worth a look.

Dataharvest for me as well very nice bits of kit![]()

Our Science technciain had the dataharvest sales guy in school this week. We have a peice of kit on loan until the end of next week and i'll probably be installing the software onto the network on Monday.
We have the Logit Voyager with the Logit Lab software.

Word of advice - avoid the Phillip Harris stuff.
We ordered some sensors and part of the order did not turn up - we had to chase them FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR before it did.
Chicken sit company.

Can highly recomend the TTS Log-Box Nice price, simple to use and very robust which is great when being used outside. A bundle of 6 is about £330.00 and other sensors are available.
Data Harvest here too...but ours, I assume, are pretty damn old. They all work off the serial connection and are a total 'mare to get working consistently.

DH sell usb-Serial converters specifically for the loggers that are serial only (they were still selling serial only loggers up until 2 years ago, I think they are now native USB?, but talk to them they always seem very nice people and happy to help.
Any guidance welcomed - in principle there are two approaches, with stand-alone loggers or with PC. What do colleagues think is best? Secondly what is a reasonable provision - or to put it another way how many logging systems do you have per class/pupil/labroatory/whatever?
Just got a few log-box units... biggest pile of **** I have ever used. The software is awful... one minute it works, the next it doesn't... depends on the tides I think.
Tried installing on one machine.. worked for admin and staff.. not for kids.. moved test kids account and gave it full access to the profiles.. still didn't work.
Tried another machine... worked for admin and kids straight away... thought it may be some software thats already on the machine.
Went to a brand new machine with nothing on, now it doesn't like the USB>Serial cable.
We have a few TTS stuff and they are all temperamental and I would avoid them like the plague.
