Maple TA/PostgreSQL on Red Hat

Hi, not sure if anyone (else) out there is using Maple TA (automated Maths testing web application), but I'm having real problems getting it installed on Red Hat enterprise linux. The problem is in authenticating in the PostgreSQL database, I get a 'FATAL: Ident authentication failed' error every time. Any suggestions appreciated! Thanks.

Looks like I'm the only person in this universe who cares about this one! If I made it more general and said "Is there anyone out there supporting Maple TA?", then would anyone care to come forward? I'm sure there ought to be a support group for it somewhere!
