    nwnet.org.uk Whiteboard Network

Anyone use the nwnet.org.uk website. I have a couple of members of staff who use it here and it seems to have dropped off the face of the earth for the last week. At first we put it down to a glitch with there internet connection / web hosting. Anyone able to shed any light on the situation? Know what's happened or if it's coming back?

Same here, one or two teachers asking what's happened to NWNET - could other folk try EduGeek.net from there area and let us know the result. I can get to the home page, then hit DNS errors.

The site was up for renewal in March and does not seem to have been renewed. I have put in a request to find out who had control of it. The resources were spread around many different locations and these resources still exist. it may be that it is all meant to be rolled into the NEN but someone forgot to set up the redirection.

Tell a lie ... I hit a cached front page for it.

I now have a way in to find out what is happening though.

Try slapping the url into the waybackmachine Internet Archive

Lists quite a few pages and stuff.

The National Strategies Office has re-register the domain and the site is now active again.

Please let your teachers know that it is available again.
