Alan testing
Hi
This will be the first time I've ran the ALAN testing my self, since the NM left last week. Just need to confirm to double check I understand this.
to enable the users to take the test
just checked the server and the exams are there for tomorrow.
so in the morning do I need to verify each user and then unlock them all enabling them to take the test.
If the student dosen't turn up with in 30 minutes of the exam starting i need to slect the student as a no show.
is this correct?
I know about spacing between computers etc.
cheers

28th April 2008, 09:37 AM #2 I make sure they are all there, highlight them all and unlock.
You might find some errors and some updates need to be downloaded. Just scroll down the error message list and click download. Let if finish and the re-unlock the exams that are still locked.
Download / print the roster list as well.
I do the "no show" at the end in case any turn up late. It does happen sometimes, but that's just a matter of preference.
Cheers,

Every time you log into the administrator its best to click download registrations(top right) it does'nt always get them all. Any error messages will show in the administrator.
If you unlock all the candiates for the session in question and if some does'nt turn up just mark them as no show when everyone else has finished

You can unlock in advance of a exam.

If you mark them as a no show though I think you get the exam fee refunded.

The Roster list is on the top right of the screen when you lock / unlock the students.

28th April 2008, 02:35 PM #10 If they don't start the exam they get marked as a no show automatically from what I've seen.
