    Default Promethean Activ Primary

Does anyone know if this requires a Promethean board to work? Or can I use it with our SMARTBoards.

The ActivPrimary CDs I have very clearly state that the software is only licensed for used on Promethean products.

Default ActivPrimary can work with ANY IWB

Activprimary can work with ANY interactive whiteboard. Contact Promethean, you can purchase their "ActivHub" that allows you to use their software. So yes it is a licensing issue, but you can buy their Activotes or ActivSlate as well and get their ActivPrimary software to use with your Smart board or any IWB you have.

You can download a free Activprimary Viewer This does work on Smart Boards (for example) as I believe it uses Flash.

If you're looking for an MSI, download and run setup. When you're at the language selection screen, click Start > Run and type %temp%

    Copy the MSI from here

    Activprimary 3 - For Non-Promethean Whiteboards : Cross Curricular : Foundation Stage : Software : PrometheanWorld Shop

There you go, hopefully that should explain it all. If you have any questions just let me know.
