Paint Shop Pro 8 'Invalid Character' issue

Had an email from staff the other day saying a student couldnt access
Paint Shop Pro 8 and she was getting the following error:

Error 1324
The path MY PICTURES contains an invalid  character

This error came up when the student started PSP8 for the first time and it installs for their profile.
We never used to get this so i dunno why its recently started happening.

I've googled it and from what i see it goes on about registry paths being incorrect, basically by using UNC path instead of %userprofile% - [Their Docs folder is on the Server]

I have tried this but its not working - and ... i dont think this is the real issue coz this would've always been a problem.

Anyone else had similar or have any suggestions?

Sorted!

It was a permissions issue on the root of their home drive ... which was created by fixing a home drive issue to begin with!
