I think that script is borked then, removing a section surely if you remove it correclty from your script it should just run fine, I think you may be finding your script is the problem here from that .

Why ask a question when your unwilling to take peoples comments on board...
If you have exchange why not use it properly.

    I agree, scripts are overused.

Well i'm not sure what else you can do, your not taking on board peoples suggestions.

Either way your going to have to change something im not quite sure what your getting at, surely it will be more work to lock it down in outlook individually.

Sometimes, you just need to bite the bullet; i.e. throw away the script (or at least remove the bit relating to signatures) and set it up properly.

Scripts can be very clever, but unless they're properly documented can be a pain to maintain by anyone other than the original author... and even then...

A few hours work now could save a lot of trouble in the future.

There isn't anything for it as Signatures are not really something thats configured via GPs, people use exchange correctly and do the legal notices etc at the server end where idiot users cannot mangle them up.

Could you not comment out the parts which are to do with the signature and then test to make sure that users can still log out? If it turns out that they can't then you can uncomment the code. No harm done.
