I any one doing this. I have had this slapped on my desk today and told to get it set up for Monday. I have installed the server software along with IIS and all is working. The client software is an exe file and a XML file.
It looks like i Ned to visit every client that is going to run this software manually. I am going to try and create a msi package tomorrow but was wondering if any one else is having the same problems

Re: Edexcel Numeracy and Literature testing software
I visited each workstation and used an admin account where it ran the install straight away and then I just had to walk round the room pressing enter !. It was a very quick way of doing it.
If you are successful getting it done as an msi package. Please report back cause I sure they are going to want this software in more than the one room its currently in.

I have created a MSI install but not 100% happy with it.
It worked but when the user launched the software it kept runinght installer, after clicking cancel several times the software worked. I'd let you have a copy of it but it will not work because of the details in the xml file when you install it is server specific.
I 'll help you if you want to try it out.
