    "The registry file that contains the location of “MY content” is {HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SMART Technologies Inc.\Gallery}

    Change the DefaultManifest string to the desired location."

    How can I go about scripting a registry poke to set this at user logon? I've tried doing it with a login script calling the following batch file but it doesn't seem to be working.

    Code:
    regedit.exe /s smartboardmycontent.reg

    I've got a login script on my PC at home which I'll post up tonight when I get back there (assuming I manage to get out of here of course )

    LOL... whoops... I did, but my brain got left behind (long day!).. Here you go.

    Code:
    '*********************************************
    '*	smartboard-gallery.vbs
    '*
    '*	$Author: martin $
    '*	$Date: 2007-06-13 22:00:29 +0100 (Wed, 13 Jun 2007) $
    '*	$Revision: 10 $
    '*
    '*
    '*	Set the server hosted gallery location
    '*	for Smartboard notebook gallery
    '*********************************************

    On Error Resume Next

    Dim WshShell
    Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")

    key2 =  "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SMART Technologies Inc.\Gallery\DefaultManifest"
    val2 = 	"\\server\appshare\Smartboard\imsmanifest.xml"
    WshShell.RegWrite key2, val2

    The trick is to locate the imsmanifest.xml file in the gallery share and set your val2 path accordingly.

    I'm pretty sure that gets run as a user logon script but I might be wrong...

    That looks excellent thanks. Does that re-route the My content folder or the shared galleries?

    IIRC it's the shared gallery and not your actual content folder... I'm not on site today so I can't check but once you've tried it you should see for yourself.

    EDIT: Doh!.. I've just re-read your original post and realised I went off on a tangent *beats head about self*. That script handles the shared content (particularly useful if you've installed the gallery on the server) but given what you wanted to do originally you should be able to use the code to botch together something that handles your own particular needs fairly easily...

    Exclamation

    One tip, after you've uploaded the gallery content to a folder on the server make it read only (even for administrators). Other wise you'll find your clipart will disappear if you uninstall Smartboard on a workstation.

    Yes I've already sorted the shared gallery deployment but wanted to re-route the My Content folder.

    I'll see if I can tweak your script and report back.

    Thanks.
