Ok..... I need to install this software to a network share and run it from there. Normally, this is not a problem as I can copy the applications files to the share and it's done. With the Collins Primary software though, this is not an option. The software requires Apache to be installed at the same time and the installation path for the database is included as part of the installation routine.

I cannot install it on the server as I don't have the required permissions to do so (the server is managed by another team), nor do the school have an Application Server I can utilise. I was hoping/planning on installing the software to a location that only staff have access to and then creating shortcuts on the desktops.

Anyone got any ideas?
