Just install it on any computer then treat the c:\program files (or x86) \Scratch folder as the unzipped folder and copy it your network share.

Or of course, just install it on all the clients - the network share option is just useful is playing with the Scratch.ini file but of ocurse you get all the downsides of running progs over a network so YMMV

    This.

    Works.

    No errors .

Home drives mapped, all others hidden. Nice one. Glad I had 5 minutes spare to do this today lol!

    Morning all,

Quick question. What would stop the ini file being copied to the workstation on install? I've edited the config file, tested it, and placed it in same folder within msi deployment folder and set it to install via gpo. It installs scratch no problem but when I look in program Files\scratch on local machine it hasn't copied the config file across. If I log on to a client without Scratch, navigate to the msi folder with installer and config file and run the installer it installs correctly and copies the config file across with no issues?!

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

I found that with Scratch and more recently Lexia... I've just been using GPP Files to push them out to machines. I know they all have the same version of the ini then as well.

Thanks, I've decided just to run it from a network share instead with the modified ini file.

    Thanks for your help.

At the moment the off line version of Scratch 2 is experimental so even if you got it working it could be changed over night.
If you follow the threads in the main scratch forum then there are some ideas on how to get it going
