    More Educational Software Issues, this time boardworks on windows 7

    Anyone got a fix for boardworks on windows 7? I suspect it's an old version. It installs fine but the menus do nothing and you can't quit out of them.

    No matter, just got a reply from boardworks, seems like it's a not free upgrade.

    We bought it in 2007 and they gave us a free upgrade to make win7 work in 2010

    It's just a bunch of Powerpoint files at the end of the day. The important ones are named by topic in the boardworks folder although the teacher notes aren't.

    You could extract the powerpoints from program files and run them as standalones without the wrap around app.

    Yeah I did that on a previous machine but this is for an image - just looks nicer with the menu.
