New Media Multimedia Science School V1.0

Ok I give up, how do you make this work on windows 7? - works ok from disk but not from local hd, (I really really hate educational software...)

Says something like cant open mssmenu.dxr, because its already open with write permission by another user. Tried permissions and stuff etc.

hmmm off the top of my head, making the folder read only does that work?

I installed this a while ago and it plays nicely on our Windows 7 network running from a shared network drive but can't for the life of me think I did anything special to get it working.

Hi School/College IT Managers who have the Multimedia Science School software installed on their network.

Just letting you know that INASIA Learning Ltd have taken over the support and sales of this popular software. So if you are being asked by your science department to install it onto the new or upgraded network then we can help with the following.

Upgrade to latest versions of the MSS 11-16 (V2) and MSS 16-18 (R4), the latest versions are Windows 7 compatible but also have better interface and lesson builder.

We also supply a SCORM upgrade that will allow the software to install into the School/College LMS or VLE. This has 2 great advantages in that less involvement is required by the IT department as not installed directly onto the network and that the software can be used at home.

If you do not have a LMS or VLE and do not wish to put it onto your network then teachers and students can run the software from the Multimedia Science School Portal. For pricing on this option and the upgrades then feel free to get in touch

    Kind regards
