Assistant ICT Technical Manager (Frontline Services)
37 hours per week, term time + 4 weeks
Salary will be in the range £19621 to £21519 (pro rata) dependent on experience. Pay award pending
The Queen Katherine School is a successful and over-subscribed school, serving both the town of Kendal and a large surrounding rural area.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with a sound knowledge and understanding of Windows XP/Windows 7 and Server 2003/Server 2008. Identifying and resolving complex Windows desktop issues will be a primary focus.
Experience of customer services and providing technical support for desktop, server and network hardware and software is essential as is proficiency in troubleshooting using appropriate tools and methodology.
The post holder will provide an effective, efficient and pro active customer focused first and second line support service ensuring that users receive an efficient response to their technology related problems and enquiries. They must have the ability to balance day to day support tasks as well as associated project work.
