The Haringey BSF Project is a 5 year project, which will deliver a full Managed Service to 12 mainstream Secondary Schools, 3 Special Schools, and 1 Pupil Support Centre, in the London Borough of Haringey.
The role is designed to support the delivery of Managed Services, working alongside technical resource based in Haringey, based primarily in one of the mainstream Secondary Schools. It is expected that 80% of time will be spent at this school, and 20% at other sites in Haringey.
Managing the networks, carrying out reactive and proactive tasks on site.
Responding to and resolving system failures
Maintaining the swap stock and asset management
Delivering the 'warm' spares swap-out service
Working with the Network Administrator and Support Consultants
Experience of maintaining a range of networking and standalone hardware, and an ability to keep abreast of technology changes and innovation
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work effectively with personnel from different teams within the company - influencing skills
Excellent customer handling and inter-personal skills (some experience of working at a customer site would be helpful)
Ability to cope with change and adapt quickly to a developing type of service delivery
