This new role has been created to build on the improvement in project management from business case through to benefits realisation at Hackney and ensure that best practice spreads throughout the Council.
In this key administrative role, you will support and advise staff across the Council on the corporate guidelines for ICT related business cases, project management, reporting, and benefits realisation. In particular, the ICT Project Support Officer will be responsible for ensuring that ICT related highlight reports are delivered on time. You'll also maintain the corporate ICT programme plan.
Skilled in planning and prioritising workload to suit both corporate objectives and customer needs, you will bring Prince 2 foundation qualification along with experience of working in an ICT project office environment in a comparable organisation. As ICT Project Support Officer you will have the ability not only to deliver on time, but also to get the details right. An ITIL qualification would be desirable.
